How To Make DIY String Light Fairy Garden Indoor
It’s a simple, mossy fairy garden that mixes natural and artificial materials but is great. You can use it as a side decoration and put it near your sofa for a delightful appearance.
Whether you use it outdoors or indoors, it will always serve well for stylization decoration, and you’ll fall in love with this dreamy fairy light.
It’s Really Easy To Make. Just Get The Following Materials On Hand
- Grapevine Sphere
- Itty-Bitty LED Lights
- Air Dry Clay
- Moss (sheet moss and reindeer moss)
- Fairies or Forrest Friends!
Making
First: Start by cutting a round hole out of the front of a grapevine orb, leaving enough vine to support the orb (so it will sit up!). Cut it concisely because it will be the pivot point in your fairy garden’s appearance and final look.
When you clip the twigs away, you’ll find a wire supporting the entire ball that’s helping the grapevine to hold shape. So, just cut the center of the wire out and bend both edges back into the twigs. It will help you keep the orb in shape.
Adding Clay
Then, take your dry clay in hand and make a layer of it to put in the orb and give it the shape just like the shape of the orb to make the base floor of your garden that may later be useful.
Press The Moss
Then, press your sheet of moss into the clay (I didn’t use glue; I just pressed it firmly onto the moist clay). In this way, it’s not so strong but great compared to actual glue, and it can also be an economical option.
To add a more sophisticated look, you may tuck some reindeer moss here and there and add a little interest by filling the inside of the orb with the moss sheet.
In the next step, wrap the LED lights around and in and out of the grapevine ball (start in the back so you can hide your battery pack behind the orb when it’s finished!) If you’re using some electricity sourced lights, you can go with them also. Then, do proper planning so that the wire doesn’t mess with the beautification of your fairy garden.
Lastly, you may add your favorite little fairy and mouse characters to your garden and finish it in an amazing masterpiece in no time.
As an additive, you may go with the rolling moss to make your grapevine sphere easily hangable and provide different amazing-looking positions to look stylized.
